Academy Facilities
Christmas and Spring Break and all Summer
Academy's are located on the beautiful campus of
Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Featuring full size indoor and outdoor landing pits, as
well as a large selection of academy poles.
Housing and meals
All overnight campers will be housed in a dorm
selected by Oklahoma Baptist University Residence
Life Department. Level 1 campers will be housed in a
local hotel transportation will be provided . Spring
Academy residents will be housed in a local hotel.
Campers will be roomed according to age and there
will be 2 campers per room. Breakfast, lunch and
dinner will be served to overnight campers. Spring
Academy campers are required to pay for their
meals separate from tuition.
Discipline and Supervision
Oklahoma Pole Vault Academy takes great pride in
being one of the finest instructional camps in the
country. We are proud that our campers adhere to
set guidelines and rules. We aim to create a
learning environment that will enhance the
experience and give each participant a positive
experience. Campers are not allowed to leave
campus, use tobacco, alcohol or any drugs. Co-ed
relations are supervised and are not allowed to date.
All visitors must secure permission from camp
directors. Campers are supervised at all times.
Counselors and coaches will reside in the dorms
and at the hotel to ensure supervision at all times.
Camp Information
Overnight Campers
What to bring: T-Shirts, shorts, socks, track shoes,
spikes, towels, washcloths, toilet articles, bathing
suit, and bedding for twin size bed or sleeping bag.
Spring Academy residents will be housed in a local
hotel. Pole vault poles and personal vault gear, the
academy does have a large pole selection you will
be allowed to use.
Day Campers
What to bring: Track shoes, spikes. Pole vault
poles and personal vault gear, the academy does
have a large pole selection you will be allowed to
use.
Insurance
All campers MUST have their own medical
coverage. However, all campers are covered by a
group policy.
Physical
Each camper MUST have a physical check-up by a
family physician, or provide a current physical from
their school.
