With 39 years of experience coaching the pole vault, Coach Heard has guided the careers of high school state champions and college national champions. He has lectured at coaches clinics and directed camps and clinics for over 3 decades. As a high school coach his pole vaulters won 16 state titles including 9 straight from 1995-2003. Heard coached two 1-2-3 State Championship sweeps, 3A boys in 2001 and 5A girls in 2008. Through Pole Vault Academy Heard has helped hundreds of athletes reach their full potential.
